Important Guidelines

  • All payments are to be made directly only to Brains Hospital
  • All hospitalization expense estimates will be given only by the billing department in line with the recommendation of treating consultants
  • Deposits/payments are to be made in cash/demand drafts, debit & credit cards (except American Express)
  • Cheques are not accepted as a form of payment, except at the time of admission
  • In the duration of a patient’s stay weekly bills are to be settled on time. Or else, the hospital reserves the right to transfer the patient to the General Ward
  • Foreigners and NRI’s are required to deposit photocopies of their passports and visa and other relevant documents with the hospital at the time of admission
  • Medical claim forms for reimbursement will be attested by the treating doctor and billing department
  • Medicines should be purchased only from the Hospital Pharmacy. Medical/surgical consumables shall be supplied by the hospital store. Purchase of medicines/surgical consumables from outside the hospital is strictly prohibited
  • In case of any extra/excess medicines, kindly inform the ward-in-charge for refund of the same before discharge
  • Patients are advised not to keep any valuables, jewellery or other costly items with them during their stay
  • Patients/relatives are requested not to tip the staff as this is strictly prohibited
  • Any employee demanding tips should be reported to the Ward In-charge or to a Medical Administrator on call
  • The Management reserves discretion on the right of admission of any person or persons into the hospital premises on specific grounds, in accordance with Article 15(2) of the Indian Constitution
