Parkinson’s Disease (PD) is one of the most common degenerative disease that affects the brain causing significant disability. Earlier PD was commonly seen in elderly people, those above 60 years, but in the recent years more and more young people are being affected with this disease.
Apart from medication, parkinson’s patients require constant rehabilitation to improve their life skills. Keeping this in mind and in order to help parkinson’s patient lead a normal life, the Basal Ganglia Support Group, a unit of Brains Hospital conducts Parkinson’s Clinic for patients & care givers every Friday.
